We talked to student in the Huntsville schools systems recently and discovered an interesting side topic. Backing up music. There a re a lot of ways to do this but her soluiton was using the pile of recordable CDR media her dad had laying around. Why should you backup any of the music that you have in your favorite accumulation? Why, saving your music makes it easy to protect from bad outcomes like scratches, for one thing. Obviously, you could utilize CD ripping options to make non-analog music files, yet what about enjoying a regular, old CD on your music system? In this case, saving your tunes is your best choice.
1st, you want to download a program that can copy a CD, and one of the best ones for this purpose is the one by the name of CDBurnerXP. On CDBurnerXP’s main screen, you can hit the copy disc menu item selection. Then, you can pick the copy audio button.
What you are now going to see is your menu that will show you both the destination and also the source of your drives. If you have greater than just one drive, you can even have the possibility to utilize two of them in order to make another disc. From here on out, though, I will just talk about the default setting in this instance, which is the choice of utilizing merely a drive to copy your disc.
Put in the original song CD into the drive and then hit the OK button in order to begin the copying of the audio tracks. After the song CD is copied onto your hard drive, remove your CD and put in an unwritten CD-R. On the burning options menu, choose a burn speed that isn't that fast, and you can do this by utilizing the drop-down menu. For the burn technique, you may decide to accept the given, two-second pause in between every song, a lengthier amount of time or even absolutely zero pause between the songs that you are copying. At long last, you are ready to start the actual process of copying your music! To do this, all it takes is a simple and easy click of the burn disc button.

School Zones
School is back in session. School zones are active. Slow
down!
This morning, like every schools day morning, I do my 25 mph
crawl through the school zone. Yes, it can be annoying when I don’t get out
early enough missing the school rush and I don’t like slowing down. But, it’s a
fact of life when you live close to a school zone; don’t speed through these
zones.

The Pinnacle Schools Reviews Behavioral Issues-ADHD
ADHD-What is It?
ADHD is a condition that--according to the experts will affect nearly five percent of the childre if school age today. According to doctors, ADHD is characterized by the inability to behave in social situations. The child with ADHD will present with inattentive behavior, hyperactivity and other symptoms which make it hard for the child to develop good social skills and to behave appropriately in school and other areas.
What Causes ADHD?
The actual cause of ADHD is unknown. Health researchers have found some links to exposure to toxins in the environment, to genetics, to additives in food, and even to the use of drugs during pregnancy but none of these reasons is--in and of itself--the definitive cause of ADHD and may not present answers to the prevention of the condition. At present there is no single known factor that is responsible for ADHD
Symptoms of ADHD
As with any other health issue or disease process, there are some symptoms that will present which can allow for the physician or psychologist to diagnose ADHD in a child. Physicians and psychiatrists will use very specific criteria in order to diagnose a child with ADHD. Children quite often are very energetic and will find it difficult to sit still for a long period of time. Likewise some children have lacked a discipline in their day to day life due to difficulties at home which can at times mimic ADHD. Because of this the diagnosis may be complicated and the physician will use very specific criteria to diagnose ADHD.
Among the testing that is used will be sustained attention testing and impulsivity testing that will help to ensure a proper diagnosis.
Treating ADHD
In many cases the physician will recommend behavioral counseling as well as in some cases, medication. In more severe cases outside intervention and school programs may be required.
The Pinnacle Schools can help your child who has been diagnosed with ADHD to overcome some of the issues that come with the condition by the use of behavioral modification and introspection. Taking stock of their actions and learning to control them better can give your child the best chance of overcoming their own issues and finding a way that will be workable for them in the long term.

Thoughts
I've spent over twenty years in the Huntsville City Schools system as a teacher and parent. The posts to come are my thoughts on the school system and my friends reviews of schools. Reviews come from people with active participation, enrollment, or the parent of someone that has attended.
The plan is to add reveiws weekly until we've covered msot of the schools. We'll start with those that are in the news in early 2013.
Enjoy.
