Information about the Academy for Science & Foreign Language

ASFL or the Academy for Science & Foreign Language is a magnet school in Huntsville, Alabama. It provides instruction in foreign language and science electives to pre-K through eighth-grade students, in addition to core classes such as math and reading. The staff and faculty help students learn how interact successfully in this present diverse world of today that is quickly changing and to make them into responsible, successful and respectful adults. It is thought that a better, more peaceful world will come about in the future by nurturing today's youth into intelligent, inquisitive and caring individuals who understand how to respect and interact with a multicultural society.

There are various organizations and clubs are available to students such as a Math Club for elementary students and the Academic Team and Math Club for middle school students. An PTA is available for all parents to join. This magnet school offers different programs for elementary and middle school students in an ideal environment for learning to help the students learn effectively so they can achieve their optimum potential.

Parents need to check the Academy for Science and Foreign Language's website when they are going to enroll their children to discover the class and orientation schedules. When faculty, staff, students and parents combine their efforts with a unified structured plan, students will attain more success during their learning experience.
